A panel of experts debate the political and economic implications of the
unprecedented fiscal adjustment undertaken by the Conservative-Lib Dem coalition government.

Timothy Besley is director of STICERD, EOPP Associate and Kuwait Professor of
Economics and Political Science.
Simon Hix is professor of European and comparative politics at LSE.
Jonathan Hopkin is senior lecturer in British and comparative politics at LSE.
Martin Wolf is associate editor and chief economics commentator at the Financial Times.
